 Ashfold School is a co-educational prep school for children aged 3-13. Caldicott offers up to five partly or fully funded 11+ places - as part of the Hitchin Scholarship - to boys who would join as boarders in Year 7 and stay on until the end of Year 8. Children achieve highly in their senior school exams, with about two-thirds attaining grammar school places, and many going on to top independent schools across the country.

 Davenies School is an all-boys’ day preparatory school for boys aged 4-13. The school’s vision and mission is to engage, inspire and challenge each child, finding the balance between challenge and support to enable all to succeed academically and develop the skills necessary for success beyond the school.  Gayhurst School is a co-educational prep school for children aged 3-11. The school is divided into junior and senior schools to cater for the appropriate academic and social needs of each age group.  High March School is an all-girls’ day preparatory school for girls aged 3-11. Facilities include a state-of-the-art 20 metre indoor, heated swimming pool, a gymnasium and specialist science, music, art, design and technology and drama suites. Despite being non-selective, students at High March achieve high results and places at leading local grammar and independent senior schools like Wycombe Abbey, Marlborough College and Wellington, including through scholarships.

 Swanbourne House School is a co-educational day and boarding school for children aged 3-13. They aim to incorporate the traditions of prep school education with a firm focus on the future. The school’s approach to academics is progressive, offering the Pre-Senior Baccalaureate instead of the Common Entrance exam, as they feel this is a more fair and accurate quantitative assessment of pupils’ all-round achievements.  Teiyko School UK is a unique school, in that it is located in the UK but offers a Japanese high school diploma.
